Description
A comforting and flavorful dish that fills the soul with warmth, featuring tender chicken breasts marinated in honey and garlic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet.
- In the skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in soy sauce and honey, stirring to scrape up any bits. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 4-5 minutes until heated through and coated with sauce.
Notes
For extra moisture, chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts. You can substitute honey with maple syrup or add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
