- 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the hot honey mixture over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until fully cooked and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Ensure even thickness of chicken for uniform cooking. For extra flavor, marinate chicken in the hot honey mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
