Description

Spicy, creamy jalapeño poppers that are perfect for game day or family gatherings, combining heat with creamy comfort.


Ingredients

  • 10 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, cut in half (or beef bacon)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Place the jalapeño halves on a baking sheet, cut-side up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  3. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and wrap with a half-slice of turkey bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and jalapeños are tender.

Notes

Wear gloves while handling jalapeños to avoid spicy residue. You can prepare the filling in advance and stuff the peppers just before baking.
