- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of bacon (or turkey bacon for a lighter option)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: toothpicks for securing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbling.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy bacon, consider pre-cooking it for a few minutes. They can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
