  • 2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (use cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While that’s heating, warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Brown the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and uniformly cooked, draining excess fat if necessary.
  3. Combine the cooked beef and onion mixture with green beans, cream, and beef broth in a baking dish. Stir gently and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
