Description
A delightful fusion dessert combining Italian Tiramisu with the rich flavors of Indian Kulfi, perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 250 grams Mascarpone Cheese (at room temperature)
- 300 ml Heavy Whipping Cream (whipped to stiff peaks)
- 2 tablespoons Milk (consider sweetened condensed milk)
- 1 teaspoon Kulfi Essence (or cardamom and saffron mix)
- 200 grams Coffee-soaked Ladyfingers (or sponge cake)
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder (for dusting)
- 50 grams Chopped Nuts (Pistachios/Almonds) (optional)
- Edible Flowers (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese with the milk and kulfi essence. Whisk them together until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- Assemble the Layers: Soak the ladyfingers in a mixture of coffee and a splash of milk. Lay half of them onto the bottom of your serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer and the remaining mascarpone cream.
- Chill and Serve: Cover your dessert and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes. Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with chopped nuts before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother mix, and let it chill for best results.
