Description
A flavorful dish combining tender salmon with zesty lemon and fresh herbs, perfect for impressing loved ones.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 fillets Salmon (wild-caught)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (sea salt or kosher)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly cracked)
- 1/4 cup Fresh dill (or dried dill/parsley)
- Vegetable sides (asparagus or bell peppers)
- Lemon slices or tomatoes (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over each fillet.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fillets. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, remaining olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh dill. Pour this mixture over the salmon fillets and add lemon slices or tomatoes on top.
- Place the fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange vegetable sides around them, drizzling with olive oil, and seasoning. Roast for about 12-15 minutes until salmon easily flakes with a fork.
Notes
For a perfect crust, ensure the salmon is dry before seasoning. Let it rest after baking for enhanced flavors.
