Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer the goodness by placing the ground beef at the bottom of your slow cooker, breaking it apart into crumbles.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the browned beef, allowing it to meld together.
- Sprinkle the uncooked bowtie pasta on top of the sauce.
- Combine the shredded mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then spread over the pasta.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or high for 2-3 hours. Stir gently before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider sautéing onions or garlic before adding the ground beef. Reserve some cheese to sprinkle on top for a crunchy texture.
