Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with creamy cheese and spicy jalapenos, perfect for gathering with friends and family.


Ingredients

  • 10 Egg Roll Wrappers
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Jalapenos, chopped (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling into the center.
  3. Fold the corners of the wrapper over the filling, roll it away from you while tucking the bottom corner in, and moisten edges to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, fry the egg rolls until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Adjust jalapeno quantity for spice levels; use whole wheat wrappers for a healthier option.
