Ingredients

- 2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- A few drops green food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 cup (90 g) mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet recommended)
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Chill your mixing bowls and beaters in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
- Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then mix in vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Whip heavy cream in chilled bowl until soft peaks form, adding green food coloring and mint extract during whipping.
- Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream gently.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spoon mousse into cups or ramekins, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Garnish with mint sprig or extra chocolate chips before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, mix heavy cream with half-and-half. You can customize flavors with different extracts or add fruit.
