- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a bit of heat)
- ½ cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, cooking until fragrant.
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes. Pour into the pan and stir.
- Add the cornstarch slurry, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked noodles in the pan, mixing until well coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve warm.
