Description

Fun and spooky treats that are perfect for Halloween parties or family gatherings, combining hot dogs and cheese in a wrapped crescent dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 8-oz. can Crescent dough
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • 12 hot dogs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the crescent dough can and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together if needed.
  3. Cut each rectangle lengthwise into thin strips.
  4. Take each slice of American cheese and cut it into 4 strips.
  5. Place a hot dog on top of a piece of cheese and wrap it with a strip of crescent dough to look like bandages. Use about 4 pieces of dough for each hot dog.
  6. Repeat this process for the remaining hot dogs and cheese.
  7. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet and brush them with melted butter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden and cooked through.
  9. Once baked, use a toothpick to dot mustard onto each hot dog to create eyes.

Notes

Ensure not to stretch the dough too much while wrapping to keep them intact. Use pre-cooked hot dogs to save time.
