Description
Fun and spooky treats that are perfect for Halloween parties or family gatherings, combining hot dogs and cheese in a wrapped crescent dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 8-oz. can Crescent dough
- 3 slices American cheese
- 12 hot dogs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the crescent dough can and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together if needed.
- Cut each rectangle lengthwise into thin strips.
- Take each slice of American cheese and cut it into 4 strips.
- Place a hot dog on top of a piece of cheese and wrap it with a strip of crescent dough to look like bandages. Use about 4 pieces of dough for each hot dog.
- Repeat this process for the remaining hot dogs and cheese.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet and brush them with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden and cooked through.
- Once baked, use a toothpick to dot mustard onto each hot dog to create eyes.
Notes
Ensure not to stretch the dough too much while wrapping to keep them intact. Use pre-cooked hot dogs to save time.
