- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons A-1 sauce
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
- 4 toasted buns
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced onion and green pepper to the skillet and sauté until the onions are translucent and the peppers soften, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth, A-1 sauce, and sprinkle in steak seasoning. Stir and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Notes
For a healthier option, use lean ground beef or turkey. Feel free to swap out A-1 sauce and provolone cheese with alternatives as per your taste.
