Description

These puff pastry pizza bites are the perfect cozy snack, filled with melted cheese and pepperoni, wrapped in a flaky golden crust.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni (or beef bacon, turkey bacon, or smoked chicken strips)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Seasonings (optional: oregano, basil, red pepper flakes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares, about 3 to 4 inches on each side.
  2. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.
  3. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create pockets, sealing them well. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
