- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni (or beef bacon, turkey bacon, or smoked chicken strips)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Seasonings (optional: oregano, basil, red pepper flakes)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares, about 3 to 4 inches on each side.
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create pockets, sealing them well. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
