Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
4. Mix in pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
6. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
8. Cool completely on a wire rack.
9. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth to make frosting.
10. Frost cooled cookies and serve!
