Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Pour in the chicken broth, cover the slow cooker, and set it to low. Cook for 6-7 hours until the chicken is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, gently stir in the uncooked rice into the slow cooker.
- Use a fork to fluff the rice, serve the chicken atop the rice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
