Ingredients

  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to season)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: Pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then press a handful of seasoned beef onto one half of each tortilla. Cook for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  3. Flip the tortilla with the beef side down, add cheese, fold in half, and grill until crispy and cheese is melted, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Slice into wedges and serve hot with optional toppings.

Notes

You can substitute ground beef with turkey or plant-based meat. Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas as needed.
