Description
A comforting family meal featuring spaghetti served in crispy garlic bread bowls, perfect for chilly evenings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 cups water
- 4 large garlic bread loaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce (your favorite brand or homemade!)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring the water to a rolling boil in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente (about 9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Slice the tops off the garlic bread loaves and hollow out the insides, leaving about an inch of bread around the edges.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained spaghetti with the pasta sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
- Place the filled bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bread edges are crispy and golden brown. Serve hot topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a healthier option, swap in whole wheat or gluten-free spaghetti. You can also customize the sauce and toppings per preference.
