Description

A cozy, family-friendly recipe for flaky pastry filled with creamy spinach and artichokes, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 puff pastry sheet (thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped (canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, and seasonings. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a floured surface. Cut into two rectangles.
  3. Spread the spinach artichoke mixture over one half of the puff pastry. Place the other half on top and cut into 6 strips.
  4. Twist each strip gently and roll them into swirls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Ensure puff pastry stays cold until use for the best puffing. Rotate baking tray for even cooking.
