Description

A cozy family dinner featuring tender steak and shrimp, mixed vegetables, and a savory soy sauce stir-fry, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak, sliced thinly (or substitute with chicken thigh roast)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Slice the steak, peel and devein shrimp, and chop vegetables.
  2. In a skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (3-4 minutes).
  3. Add shrimp, cook until pink and opaque (2-3 minutes), then stir in garlic and ginger for a minute.
  4. Mix in vegetables and soy sauce, stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp (3-4 minutes).
  5. Serve over warm rice or noodles.

Notes

Prep ahead by chopping veggies and slicing steak the night before. Use a hot skillet to retain texture. Consider adding nuts or sesame seeds for a twist.
