Description
A comforting and flavorful dish featuring tender beef and egg noodles coated in a savory sticky sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
- 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside. Toss with a drizzle of oil to prevent sticking.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Toss in the sliced bell peppers and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the drained noodles and toss everything together until the noodles are coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Notes
For variations, consider using chicken or venison instead of beef, or try adding different vegetables.
