- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can strawberry pie filling
- 1 package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- Whipped cream (for topping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the creamy layer and drizzle the melted butter on top. Scatter sliced fresh strawberries over everything.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool before serving.
