- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 package frozen tater tots (about 32 ounces)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (or a dairy alternative)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic, onion, and black pepper in a large bowl.
- Layer the tater tots in a baking dish and top with cooked sausage and cheddar cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the tater tot and sausage layers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
