- 4 slices of beef bacon, turkey bacon, or chicken strips (smoked if desired)
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside, keeping the drippings in the skillet.
- Sauté the chopped onion in the bacon grease until golden and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the drained green beans with the onions, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Finally, stir in the crumbled bacon or substitute and serve warm.
