- 3/4 cup milk

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until light and frothy.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just mixed.
- Heat oil in a deep pot or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes
For dairy-free, use almond milk instead of whole milk. For a vegan option, substitute eggs with flax eggs.
