Ingredients
1 frozen banana, sliced
1 cup fresh spinach, packed
1/2 cup mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
1 scoop plant-based protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Add frozen banana to the blender first for optimal texture
Layer fresh spinach and berries on top
Sprinkle chia seeds evenly over the fruit
Drizzle nut butter down the side of the blender
Add protein powder, almond milk, lemon juice, and vanilla
Blend on high until completely smooth (2-3 minutes)
Pause to scrape down the sides if needed
Taste test and add sweetener or ice as desired
Serve immediately in chilled glasses

For extra creaminess, use frozen avocado instead of banana
