- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and pat the chicken breasts dry.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then rub all over the chicken.
- If desired, sear the chicken in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, grated Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried thyme until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish, pour the creamy sauce over it, cover with foil, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove foil in the last 5 minutes for browning, then let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute chicken thighs for extra flavor, and use cream alternatives for a lighter version.
