Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese for topping
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear in olive oil over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, add chicken broth, simmer for 1-2 minutes, then stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add chives and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place seared chicken in the prepared baking dish and pour the cream cheese sauce over it. Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a bubbly topping.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
