Description

A flavorful and easy-to-make comfort food dish, featuring crispy chicken tenderloins coated in panko breadcrumbs and served with a spicy bang bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • Oil for frying (about 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken tenderloins with salt and pepper; let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Set up your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate shallow dishes.
  3. Dredge each chicken tenderloin in flour, dip in eggs, and then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate lined with paper towels.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider baking the breaded chicken at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
