- 1 cup caramel sauce (divided)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the crockpot.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apple filling.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nuts, if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, until the cake is set.
- Serve warm with the remaining caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Allow the cake to cool a bit before serving for easier slicing. Add your own twist by mixing in other fruits or flavors.
