- 1 package of brownie mix (follow additional ingredients as directed on the package)
- 24 ounces (three 8-ounce packages) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling on top)
- Whipped cream (for garnishing)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnishing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix the brownie batter according to package instructions and pour into the prepared pan. Bake as directed and cool completely.
- Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C). Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth, then add vanilla, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream until lump-free.
- Pour cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie layer and swirl half the caramel sauce into the cheesecake.
- Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly. Let cool in the oven for an hour, then chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve topped with whipped cream, additional caramel, and chocolate shavings.
Notes
Allow the cheesecake to chill overnight for enhanced flavor and texture. Don’t overbake to prevent cracks.
