Description
Warm and cozy Cheesy Beef Biscuit Bombs filled with savory ground beef and gooey cheese, perfect for family nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Sauté the beef: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, place the ground beef over medium heat. As it cooks, use a wooden spoon to break it apart, ensuring it browns evenly for about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease but leave a bit for flavor. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper for another 1-2 minutes.
- Create the cheese mixture: Remove the skillet from heat and let the beef cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Fold in the cooled beef mixture.
- Assemble the biscuit bombs: Open the biscuit dough, flatten each biscuit into a disc, and spoon the beef and cheese mixture into the center. Fold edges to secure and shape into balls. Place on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with sautéed mushrooms and spinach. You can freeze unbaked bombs for future use.
