Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  3. Add flour, salt, and optional garlic powder, stirring until a dough forms. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Press an indentation in the center of each dough ball and fill with about 1/2 teaspoon of hot pepper jelly.
  7. Bake for 13–15 minutes until golden brown and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs.

Notes

Chill the dough for best results and feel free to experiment with different cheeses or jellies.
