  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 strips Turkey bacon or beef bacon
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Rotini pasta, uncooked
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Half-and-half
  • 2 tablespoons Dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning; sear in the skillet over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, about 6 to 7 minutes per side.
  3. Cook rotini in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Whisk in flour to form a roux, then slowly stir in half-and-half until thickened.
  5. Mix in ranch seasoning and cheese until smooth; add pasta and chicken, tossing to coat. Finish with crispy bacon and serve warm.
