- 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 strips Turkey bacon or beef bacon
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 small Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups Rotini pasta, uncooked
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons Dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
Instructions
- In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning; sear in the skillet over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, about 6 to 7 minutes per side.
- Cook rotini in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Whisk in flour to form a roux, then slowly stir in half-and-half until thickened.
- Mix in ranch seasoning and cheese until smooth; add pasta and chicken, tossing to coat. Finish with crispy bacon and serve warm.
