Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups pasta or sliced potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
- Drain any excess fat from the beef mixture.
- Combine the cream of mushroom soup with the milk in a bowl until smooth.
- Layer the casserole by starting with half of the pasta or potatoes, then half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese. Repeat.
- Pour the creamy soup mixture over the layers and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
