Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups pasta or sliced potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the beef mixture.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup with the milk in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Layer the casserole by starting with half of the pasta or potatoes, then half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese. Repeat.
  5. Pour the creamy soup mixture over the layers and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
