- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente (9-11 minutes).
- Drain the pasta, reserving ½ cup of pasta cooking water.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked, then remove excess grease.
- Lower heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and once melted, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and black pepper, then add cooked pasta and toss to combine, using reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute the bowtie pasta with any preferred pasta shape. Adjust meat for leaner options like turkey or chicken. Use lighter dairy options for a healthier version.
