Description

A simple, creamy chicken and gravy recipe cooked in a Crockpot, perfect for cozy evenings and busy families.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or mashed potatoes, for serving

Instructions

  1. Set the Crockpot to low or high, depending on available time. Place the chicken breasts directly into the Crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is cooked and tender.

Notes

For thicker gravy, stir in a cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes. Ensure space for even cooking and shred the chicken gently to keep it moist.
