Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 grams)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
  • ½ cup butter (salted or unsalted, softened)
  • 24 tbsp milk (more or less as needed)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat-treat the flour by microwaving it in 20-second intervals until it reaches 165°F or bake it in the oven at 350°F for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the heat-treated flour, vanilla extract, and salt to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add milk until the desired consistency is reached, then fold in the chocolate chips.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Can freeze in scoop-sized portions for later use.
