- 12 slider buns
- 1 pound sliced turkey bacon or chicken strips (smoked, if desired)
- 8 ounces sliced cheese (Swiss or similar)
- 1 cup sliced pickles
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder and mustard.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and layer the bottom halves in a baking dish. Add protein, cheese, and pickles on top.
- Brush the garlic butter glaze evenly over the top halves and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before pulling apart and serving warm.
