Description
A luxurious yet easy-to-make creamy garlic butter lobster pasta that turns an ordinary weeknight into a special family dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook your pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving a small cup of pasta water, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked lobster meat and toss gently in the garlic butter for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Lower the heat and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fold the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed to reach your desired consistency. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or non-dairy options. You can use shrimp or crab meat if lobster is unavailable.
