Description
A heartwarming dish of ribeye steaks seared to perfection and topped with a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for cozy family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, place the steaks into the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden-brown.
- Flip the steaks, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic, and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, pour in heavy cream, and whisk while scraping the brown bits from the pan. Add grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
- Slice the rested steaks, plate them, drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top, and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Let the steak rest after cooking to maintain its juices. Whisk the cream sauce continuously for a smooth texture.
