- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt your butter in a medium mixing bowl and whisk in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them out.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Don’t overbake for the best chewy texture. Use quality chocolate chips and feel free to experiment with toppings.
