Description
A rich and satisfying creamy beef pasta dish, perfect for cozy family nights, featuring tender pasta, savory beef, and a silky Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
- Fettuccine pasta – 8 oz
- Lean ground beef – 1 lb
- Heavy cream – 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated – 1/2 cup
- Garlic, minced – 3 cloves
- Fresh spinach – 2 cups
- Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon
- Salt and black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve one cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the beef and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the spinach and Italian seasoning, letting the spinach wilt into the sauce. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the consistency. Serve warm and creamy.
Notes
Let the beef brown properly for deeper flavor. Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
