- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed crackers
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the chicken mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed crackers with the melted butter until combined and sprinkle over the chicken mixture. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
You can prepare the casserole ahead of time and store it in the fridge before baking. For a vegetarian version, substitute with cauliflower rice instead of chicken.
