Ingredients
4 medium white peaches (freestone varieties preferred)
2 large lemons (zest and juice used)
1 cup granulated sugar
6 cups chilled water
Ice cubes
Instructions
Wash and dry peaches, zest one lemon, and juice both lemons
Blend peeled and pitted peaches until smooth
In a pot, dissolve sugar in 1 cup water to make simple syrup
In a pitcher, combine peach puree, lemon juice, and sugar syrup
Slowly stir in remaining 5 cups water
Chill for 1 hour, then serve over ice in pre-chilled glasses garnished with lemon wheels
Notes
Peeling peaches ensures a silky texture
Save peels for making future fruit syrups or infused water
Adjust sugar to taste (start with 3/4 cup if preferring less sweet)
Use white peaches for milder flavor and better color clarity
