Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 cups sliced apples (about 4–5 apples)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl until it resembles coarse crumbs. Press half into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer sliced apples over the crust and drizzle caramel sauce on top. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture over apples.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender. Sprinkle with sea salt and allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
For best texture, let the bars cool completely before slicing. Use a variety of apples for added flavor complexity.
