Ingredients
16 oz strawberries, hulled
4 cups water
6 medium lemons, juiced
1 cup caster sugar (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
Ripen strawberries by mashing or pureeing them to release juice.
Add a tablespoon of lemon juice to strawberries and let them macerate for 5-10 minutes.
Strain the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing to remove solids.
Combine strained strawberry liquid, lemon juice, sugar, and 4 cups water in a large pitcher.
