Description

Vampire Bite Halloween Cupcakes are spooky, party-ready chocolate cupcakes filled with ‘blood’ and topped with fangs for an eye-catching treat that’s easy, fun, and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box chocolate cake mix

3 large eggs

1 cup water

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup red frosting

24 mini chocolate cupcakes

12 plastic fangs or gummy vampire teeth

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

Red food coloring

Cupcake liners

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil; mix until smooth.

3. Fill liners about 2/3 full and bake 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

4. Use a knife to cut a small hole in the top of each cupcake and fill with red frosting to resemble blood.

5. Insert a plastic fang or gummy vampire tooth into the top.

6. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze; tint with red food coloring.

7. Drizzle the red glaze over cupcakes for an extra spooky effect.

8. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Serve on a spooky platter with faux cobwebs or plastic spiders for Halloween flair.

Store leftovers in an airtight container: 1–2 days at room temp or up to 1 week refrigerated.

Let cupcakes cool completely before decorating to prevent melting.

Try other frosting colors or add sprinkles/edible glitter for extra drama.

Variations: use vanilla or other cake flavors; gluten-free cake mix works too.
